What to Say When You’re Angry…
“War is declared. Get prepared.” That’s what hacker collective, Anonymous, is saying in response to the tragic Paris attacks that took place on Friday. In a video uploaded on Friday, an Anonymous spokesperson announced that the group plans on hunting the ISIS militant group down in what they are calling their “biggest operation”.
Anonymous might start with exchanges between the terrorists on Sony PlayStation. What? Officials think the attackers may have communicated through PlayStation 4, which has a message feature that authorities can’t monitor very easily. Officials in Turkey also saw tweets a few days ahead of the attacks and alerted French officials.
Anonymous is a loosely associated international network of hacktivists. The controversial group, with “a very loose and decentralized command structure, is best known for publicized stunts and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on government, religious, and corporate websites. Hopefully the anonymous attackers from ISIS get a taste of their own medicine. #LoveInParis
