“Can you please go a little faster?” That’s what a cop had to say to a Google self-driving car on Thursday. The self-driving car was going 24 mph in a 35 mph zone in Mountain View, CA. But how does a self-driving car get a ticket? It doesn’t. Thankfully there was a passenger in the car for the cop to ask about the self-driving car and how it decides on speeds for various roads.Google has capped the speed of its vehicles to 25mph for “safety reasons.”

“In this case, it was lawful for the car to be traveling on the street as El Camino Real is rated at 35 mph,” said Mountain View police department. (Source CNN)

“You are driving slower than my Grandmother” is being replaced by “You are driving slower than my Google Robot Car.” Shade thrown.

Facebook wants to be Snapchat. Or at least be like them when it comes to disappearing messages. Facebook is testing out the feature in France to see how it works out. The disappearing feature can be activated by tapping an hourglass icon in the right corner of the window to enable or disable if you want your messages to stay or disappear. You can turn this off and on depending on who you are talking to, so that could be used to your advantage. (Source MSN)
