Uber Gets A Facelift

Uber users may have noticed an email in their inboxes this morning titled, “Introducing a more colorful Uber”. Well it turns out that Uber isn’t making their cars more colorful, just their branding. “Same ride, new look” is what they’re saying. The app logo has changed from the U to a circle thing with a square? People are confused but Uber has a reasoning for it. The new look and feel of Uber is to celebrate technology and the cities Uber serves according to a press release. Uber isn’t “Everyone’s private driver” anymore, instead they just want you to “Get there” according to the new tagline. (Source Mashable)

Mayer has been trying to make Yahoo relevant again but things are still rough. (Source Mashable)

GoPro Hide and Seek

Dan Iverson had the adorable idea of putting a GoPro on his kid’s head during a game of hide and seek. The GoPro captured footage of the boy searching the house for his parents while his parents hide in a closet laughing as they watched a livestream of the GoPro. Luckily, the family dog comes in handy and helps the boy out. Iverson posted on Facebook, “If you have a toddler and a GoPro, strap it to their head and play hide & seek. It’ll be the best thing you did. Promise.” The 13 million people who viewed the Facebook video agree. Check it out here.
